These are the 4 bolt model specifically for wahoo/ speedplay pedals / cleats and do not require the 3 to 4 bolt adaptor so the foot to closer to the pedal for better power transfer
Shoes come with a pair of brand new SIDI protector plates ( speedplay/ wahoo 14015- v2 protector shim kit) that sit between sole and cleats to protect the sole
