Description:
FOR SALE is my Orbea Oiz TR (downcountry edition IYKYK.) This bike started out as a 2022 Orbea Oiz M10/M20 with a GX/XO1 build, but pretty much every component has been upgraded in some way, shape, or form. Upgraded Fox Factory suspension components, dropper seatpost + the Industry Nine Trail 270 Hydra wheels are probably the biggest upgrades on the bike. I swapped out the cockpit components from the stock alloy bar/stem for a carbon Thomson handlebar and an Elite X4 stem + the Ergon GA3 grips (which has been my preferred cockpit setup for the last decade and a half.)

Bicycle Blue Book puts the private party value in stock trim at:
– Private party: $3083 – $3138 (Very Good Condition); $2794 – $2879 Good Condition)
– Description: The bicycle has minor cosmetic blemishes, may require minor service without replacing any parts.

Reason I’m Selling: Just purchased a new MTB – (Finally got myself an Allied BC40 – can’t justify having two 120mm XC/DC bikes in the fleet)

Condition:
I would classify this bike in “Very Good” condition. It’s a mountain bike so it has some blemishes/scratches on it, however I’ve taken excellent care of the frame and components. Moreover, multiple aspects have been replaced or serviced very recently. The bike/frame itself has about 1000 miles on it (or about 125 hours of riding – I’m slow okay)

The suspension was overhauled and currently has only 30 minutes of ride time on it. New seals, dust wipers, and suspension fluid performed by the Fox Suspension Service. Additionally, all new pivot bearings were installed at the same time of the suspension service.

There’s a new chain with only about 1 hour of ride time (I also submersion wax treat all my chains) and the chainring was replaced recently with only about 5 hours of ride time on the new one.

The cables and housing for the rear derailleur and dropper seatpost were replaced about 10 hours of ride time ago – between the new chain, chainring, and cables/housing the bike shifts beautifully.

The brakes have brand new brake pads (<1 hr of ride time on them) and the system was bled at the time of the suspension service.

The tires are Specialized Ground Control/Fast Trak 29×2.4 with about 30 hours of ride time on them. The wheels are Industry Nine Hydra Trail 270s set up tubeless with Stans sealant (recently refreshed about 2 ride hours ago.)

Ride Impressions:
This bike is a fantastic do-it-all cross country and light trail riding bike. The setup makes it burly enough to tackle East Coast mountain rocks but it’s light enough to tackle short XC courses as well. It weighs in (pedals included) about 26.5 pounds and has been my race bike for both the Shenandoah 100 as well as some local short track events.
