This bike is a blast to ride. Santa Cruz calls it the “downhiller’s cross country bike” and I couldn’t agree more. It rallies hard on the climbs and flats, but when the terrain points downhill, the bike truly comes alive. Despite having only 130 mm of travel, it eats up heavy trail conditions and is dynamic and responsive to rider control. This bike was built for trails like UPS and The Plunge, but is equally comfortable railing 18 Rd laps. I would love to hold onto it, but I’m changing sponsors and updating my entire quiver.
