Selling my beloved gravel bike, as I’ve built up a new frame to replace both this and my road bike. It’s built around a 56cm Flyxii FE-02 frame, purchased in October 2021 and ridden almost exactly 1600 miles since. The other components are substantially newer; I built up a set of burly 650b wheels in early 2023 and upgraded the drivetrain to Shimano 105 Di2 at the start of this year. I intended this bike to be a burly fuss-free machine to tackle gravel and jeep roads in the mountains, and it performs splendidly in that role. The frame is very robust and I’ve bikepacked with ~120 kg on it (me + luggage + bike) on some nasty singletrack without any problem. The tire clearance is excellent; I’ve had 700c x 50 mm tires on it with plenty of room and am currently using 650b x 54 mm tires (measured widths). The only drawback is that the bike is a bit porky – about 10.4 kg all told, though a substantial portion of that is in the wheels, which weigh 1.80 kg for the front and 2.25 kg for the rear, including tires, rotors and cassette.
Due to the somewhat limited amount of seatpost and high standover height of this frame, I would only recommend it if you’re about 5’9” or taller. For reference, I’m 5’11” and the pictured setup fits me perfectly.
I know that power meters and 650b wheels aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, and I’m willing to sell without either or both features.
No power meter: subtract $250
No wheels: subtract $300
Included are a Di2 charging cable, power meter charger, spare spokes, spare derailleur hanger, and the gubbins for mechanical shifting should you wish to downgrade.
