For sale is a mostly-complete Knolly Cache Steel, size 56cm, built up with SRAM Rival 1×11. I’m currently selling without wheels, though I can include a set of Prime (Wiggle store brand, no longer offered in the US) alloy wheels at no additional cost.
This bike has seen a fair bit of use and there are notable cosmetic dings on the frame and cranks. I’ve tried to include pictures of all the notable ones, but I want to make sure this is no surprises. I’ve realized I was trying to turn this into a race bike and am trying to transition over to something more fit for purpose and hopefully can get this to a good home.
Notable geometry figures: 409mm reach, 602mm stack, 70.5 HTA, 422 chainstay, 45mm listed tire clearance (I’ve had 48mm measured tires in there just fine but haven’t tested wider than that)
Build:
SRAM Rival 1×11 shifting and brakes–short cage RD that I’ve been using with shimano 11-40 cassettes
SRAM Force carbon crankset with Sigeyi power meter, 172.5mm 44t
Uno stem
40cm Zipp SL70 Xplr handlebars
Silca bartape
Ritchey WCS Carbon seatpost
WTB Volt saddle
Also including a Revelate top tube bag and a second 40t chainring
Open to questions, also definitely open to negotiation on price–this is a pretty idiosyncratic build. Buyer pays shipping through bikeflights or we can do pickup anywhere within a couple hours of Indianapolis. Buyer pays any paypal fees
