I am selling my beloved Ritchey Swiss Cross Disc. After suffering a ruptured disc in 2018, I had to pause my lifelong passion of cycling for four years. In 2022, I was finally strong enough to get back in the saddle. In December of 2022, I ordered the Swiss Cross frame and built it up from scratch.

This is my dream bike sadly. When growing up working as a bike shop mechanic, I always wanted a Ritchey. In the early days of MTB, Ritchey mtb’s were legend and so was their legendary racer – Thomas Frischnekt. The Swiss cross was first built for Frischnekt to race cyclocross. It has since evolved to become a racy gravel bike with 40mm tire clearance. This thing is smooth as butter with that classic steel frame ride. But what else would expect from the man, the myth, the legend – Tom Ritchey.

While I got good mileage out of it (about 1500 miles), I am parting ways as I finally came to accept that I could not get the bike to fit me. My legs are simply too short for this frame size (30” inseam).

So – this can be yours. I will list the current parts but I can also switch out a number of parts to help with fit.

– shock stop suspension stem (120mm)
– specialized hover bar alloy 440mm

I can swap out the stem for either a shorter carbon or shorter shockstop (90 – 110mm)

I can also swap out the seat post for a generic Temu leaf spring carbon seatpost with 0 or 15mm set back.

The bike is set up with 30mm of spacers (max) – I can easily cut down steerer tube if you want to slam it ….

I can also switch handlebar to an alloy thesis size 420mm
