The title says it all: this is the last Lyrebird that will ever be available as new.

I built it so I had something for bike shows and as a review sample for Cycling Tips. The CT collapse happened before the review so this bike has never been ridden.

The bike as shown weighs ~ 7.8 kg, I believe it is the lightest “woody” gravel bike ever made.

See attached chart for geometry, it’s basically a medium size and built as a go-anywhere / gravel bike. It happily fits 700C x 45 mm tyres with room for mudguards, you could possibly push it to 700C x 50 mm. Full BCad file available on request.

The frame was designed for a lightweight but strong rider and is finished in my “bushfire disaster vineyard mix”: Tasmanian blackwood, black wattle, smoked eucalypt, red gum and messmate.

Mudguard mounts but no rack mounts included. Back end is set up with Paragon BOBI and DM road mounts. I am happy to change the latter to UDH if you want, I think it is a better system.

Cane Creek 110 headset, C-Bear ceramic bottom bracket.
Chorus 2 x 12 mechanical disc group, 48t x 32t, 172.5mm cranks, 11 – 29 cassette, 160mm discs.
Currently set up with rear brake on the left, front on the right (Australia / UK pattern), I can change this as required.
Cinelli Dinamo stem (110 or 120mm available), Vision carbon bars, Arundel Gecko tape.
SQ Lab 620? saddle , Thompson Masterpiece alloy seatpost.
No pedals, no bottle cages.

THE WHEELS IN THE PICS ARE NOT AVAILABLE: they aren’t mine so I can’t sell them. I can supply a pair of new Hunt 35 X-wide carbon wheels or you can use your own wheels. Disc rotors and cassette will be included either way.
Chain has been prepped and waxed with my own graphene suspension / organic wax system, I will provide an unprepped chain if this doesn’t suit.

This is the last Lyrebird ever, it is brand new and proceeds from the sale will be used to fund my new wine venture* so I am asking $AUD 11,000 / $USD 7500 w/o wheels, $AUD 12,500 / $USD 8500 with wheels. Shipping at cost, obviously dependent on location.
