Compact, intuitive bike computer with GPS
Speed, distance, ride time, grade of slope, temperature, time of day — or versions like lap speed, lap time, average speed. With the right sensors, see cadence, power and heart rate. Or options like lap power, average power, average cadence, left/right power balance, etc.
• 1-button scrolling between data, climbing & navigation screens.
• Customize the display with the intuitive Wahoo app
• Side buttons to zoom in or out on maps or see more or fewer data fields.
• 15-hour claimed battery life. Haven’t measured, but I’ve done plenty century rides using navigation the whole time.
• 61 gm. Bluetooth and ANT+ communication.
• Texts to your phone appear on-screen (if you wish)
This is a 2020 Bolt version 1, listed for $250. Works flawlessly. Blue charging-port plug is no longer connected by a rubber hinge but functions same as ever to keep things dry.
All original accessories and manual included:
• out-front bike mount
• bar-top bike mount and zip ties
• micro-USB charging cable
Navigation:
Routes made in a free RideWithGPS account can be sent to the Wahoo Bolt for turn-by-turn directions. Routes sent from a paid Strava subscription appear as a “breadcrumb trail” on the map. These, too, can be turn-by-turn (i.e., street names and 100-yard warnings appear) if first exported from Strava into RideWithGPS. I’m no techy and this step was easy.
